The Four Shifts Program identifies the bulls that block good communication in so many workplaces - such as vagueness, sarcasm, gossip and possessiveness - and suggests Principles and Habits to shift them.
Build practical skills, step by step.
Apply these four Habits to get people more present and connected, make your meetings more purposeful, make effective requests, give clear instructions, and engage people in decision-making that is more likely to lead to successful execution.

Shift from defensiveness to curiosity, park automatic opinions, reduce your attachments and make it safer and easier for people to be honest with you.

Distinguish healthy venting from whinging, muttering and recruiting. Take greater responsibility, separate facts from opinions, state your wants and concerns, and speak TO people rather than just ABOUT them.

Lift Competitive relationships to be more Co-operative and get some of your nice, polite Co-operative to be more robust and Collaborative. Eliminate gossip, reduce the sarcasm and corporate speak, and help people to think together with, "How might we ...?" questions.

We blend visual, audio and written resources with facilitated conversations to explore how the tools can be used in your work. For our in-the-room programs, the online resources are usually accessed the workshops. For online programs, the resources are viewed, read or listened to before each session so people come ready to collaborate on application.
Bullshift TV: Engaging videos explaining the concepts with actors playing out examples and quizzes to spark self-reflection.
Bullshift Audio: The audio version of the Episodes - and the Bullshift Audiobook.
Written Resources: The e-book or hard copy plus downloadable reminders, summaries and guides.
Workshops: Facilitated explorations of how each tool can be applied to your workplace challenges - with peers supporting each other as you learn together.

The Four Shifts tackle the real communication pain points that cost teams the most time and trust.
